Annual pet exams are a nose to tail check-up that can help monitor your pets' health
and look for early signs of problems such as dermatitis, diabetes, arthritis, obesity
and other pathological conditions. Your veterinarian can detect problems and give you
advice for treating them. A complete physical exam by your veterinarian is
recommended every 6 months.
Radiographs are the most common form of imaging used by veterinarians. X rays are
an important tool to evaluate internal organs, bones and joint pathologies.
Regular lab work allows your veterinarian to assess symptoms he/she cannot see or
feel, such as liver disease, kidney disease, pancreatitis, thyroidism or diabetes.
It is important to do blood work before any anesthetic procedures.

Spaying your female companion helps prevent uterine infections and mammary gland tumors
which are malignant or cancerous in about 50 percent of dogs.
Spaying your pet before her first heat offers the best protection from these diseases.
Routine dental exams and teeth cleaning is very important in detecting and preventing
gingivitis, broken teeth, pain and tooth loss. We provide complete dentistry for pets
including ultrasonic cleaning and polishing, dental radiographs, cavity filling and
root canal procedures under general anesthesia.
Vaccinations prevent many pet illnesses. Vaccinations can help avoid costly treatments
for diseases that can be prevented. Vaccinations prevent diseases that can be passed
between animals and also from animals to people. Our Puppy Care Package helps you
achieve complete puppy care including vaccinations, parasite screening, deworming and
microchip implantation.
Neutering your male companion prevents testicular cancer and some prostate problems.
